Oh, we were wrong about the 4Runner.
The mechanic called this morning.
It's not going to be $1200.
It's going to be $2400.

    Yeah, I just shelled out for a new starter on my Suburban .. and was told that I need another $800 worth of work *soon*. It's not quite as big a bill as yours, but ((gulp)) ... I HATE this stuff.
