Somebody had a birthday, Sunday.

Yah. That would be his new drivers license.
WOO-HOO!
In the past few hours he has...
* taken (and passed) his drive test
* gotten his license
* got on our insurance
* paid his fees for college this fall
* registered for the draft
and
* registered to vote.
WHEW!

You did it! You raised a boy to manhood! Congratulations to both of you - even though those milestones give me agita. :)
By the grace of God, my friends, by the grace of God. When I listed all those things I felt like I was standing next to a rocket on the launch pad, with its engines rumbling.
He'll still be at home while he attends community college, but we've really entered a new era :D
In my experience, now the "real fun" begins... You think parenting toddlers or even teens can be challenging... Try parenting young adults! After all they are "adults" in their mind so they are "done" being parented (in their mind) yet EVERY choice is momentous! :) Have fun and enjoy the ride!!
