And The Answer Is...

The babies look like this...

No, they did not get out.  The lid was on tight.

And we disposed of them.

Ewwww.

Well, on the bright side, it could have been tapeworm eggs. I'm pretty sure that would be grosser than slugs!

*shudder*

There is a reason I stayed away from UC Santa Cruz as a university choice, lol!

Oh my goodness....now you will never know that I thought that. I looked at those eggs and I thought..."what else could come from such slimy eggs but slugs!" ...lesson learned. It really would have been a wild guess too.

What happened to them?

Nothing too gruesome (they were too small to salt).

Tate dumped them in the trash can, where they're probably ecstatically gorging themselves on slime... until garbage day. Heh heh heh.

We had many many many of those in our backyard growing up. Haven't seen them around here. Must not be damp enough.
