You make me smile! Knitting is so good for the brain. Especially in these PNW winters. Post your finished work.

Yay!! Have fun!! You will get the hang of it! I have yet to attempt that style of washcloth, so you are already ahead of me. :o)

I always have envied those who knit up an amazing sweater (or insert other amazing item here) and seem to do so effortlessly... To add insult to injury, they claim the knit for relaxation. Being left handed it took me month to master the basic knit stitch and even after I (kinda) got that down EVERY stitch was work, required me to be fully focused on the knitting... After several overly long, poorly constructed scarves and not even being able to add the purl stitch, I finally realized my brain was wired differently from theirs and I needed to move on. Stick with it my creative friend... Knit for those of us who honestly can't!!!!!

Thanks for all the encouragement! I'll probably be in the "washcloth phase" for a long time ;D Doesn't help that I'm holding the knitting needles and the yarn as if they were going to kill me if they got away (i.e. TIGHTLY!)

And Rebecca - you have skills I can't even touch, in so many areas! It's great that we're NOT all wired the same (wouldn't that be dull?)

Happy Saturday :D
