Thankful Hands

Made this for my mom's birthday (in November) almost two years ago.
Didn't quite finish it on time, due to having my tonsils out.
(Memories!)

Got it put together in time for Thanksgiving :D

I traced each of the boys' hands and appliqued them on with their initials.

Simple.

Love this. I would love to learn to quilt, but I don't even own a sewing machine. Hopefully... "someday"!

Love it! (what else would I say? I seem to love all of your quilts)

ONce upon a time, I made a quilt (with much help from my faster-working and finish-the-job friend) for my brother & sis-in-law that included their kids' handprints ~ used fabric paint. Um, it was fun when it was finished and hanging on their wall ;-) I remember the youngest did NOT enjoy putting her hand in the paint. She will be 22 in August ~ yes, it was a long time ago!
