24 Faith

I pray that faith will find root in my children's hearts, that by faith they may gain what has been promised to them.

Luke 17:5-6
The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!”
He replied, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you.

Hebrews 11:6
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

Romans 4:20-21
Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God,  being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.

These are spot-on. THANK YOU so very much for sharing your prayers with us. So often my prayers are more like, "Father, would you please give them just two brain cells of common sense?"

I think 'common sense' is praying what He wants for them rather than what I want for them!

I post these for myself. Knowing that in the long run it's a better strategy than "Lord, please make them BEHAVE!"
