Hallelujah!

We're HOME!!!

When I dashed home yesterday morning I left a sick and discouraged boy at the hospital, but when I arrived back (to him) in the afternoon he seemed much improved. The doctor came by and his temp was down and other indicators were good. She said as soon as he could eat "real food" he could go home.

He promptly requested toast, with sugar-cinnamon :0) He ate a few other things too, slept pretty well, got unhooked from everything and came home this morning.

Praise God!

Tate is still a bit weak, and will be recovering for the next few days, but it's good to see the twinkle in his eyes and a smile on his face.

Many thanks for all your prayers and concern,

Julie

Praise God! A tired, recovering Tate is much, much, much better than a still-sick-Tate in the hospital! Here's to gaining strength quickly and starting wars in Dinotopia again VERY SOON!

So very glad to hear that Tate is home! Great news!

I understand that playing with Legos is helpful in recovery. Really.

I had no idea he was still there until today! I would have popped by on my hospital rounds. Thank goodness you are now home in your own beds, and we hope Tate will be up for coming to church in another week and Game Night at the end of the month. And Mom and Dad will definitely be ready for a vacation!
