Heard Around the Dinner Table

Gunnar: "What's a eunuch?"

Mom: (Carefully not laughing.) "I'm sure Dad would love to explain that."

Well, if you read the Bible to children, this might come up at your dinner table.

Lol! We've had that question too! I can't remember how either one of us answered it though.

I left the room smothering a laugh after my own asked at the supper table what "spilling seed" meant. "How do we know what sort of crop that was, Dad?"

God has graciously given us provision for teaching the the facts of life!
Interestingly, my fellows let the spilling seed thing pass when we were reading that a few months ago. Do you remember I posted about the defilement of Dinah, Tamar etc.Harrowing!

I think the comments are as fun as the post itself! We've had quite a few such moments around our house, especially with the girls enjoying to just sit down with their Bibles on their own...
