We'll go on into third grade math... taking it slow and easy.
I don't know how Saxon compares to public school scope and sequence, but he's already begun a bit of multiplication in 2nd grade math, and I don't want to rush that.
The third-grade book starts with quite a bit of review, though, so we'll take our time. I have some other games and things I'll be mixing in, to make sure he really understands all the concepts.

Congratulations to Gunnar! Will you start third grade math now, or do you wait until next year?

When a boy is smiling with a math book, that is a GOOD THING! :)
