Home's Cool

 We're ready.

I think.

That is, I have a plan.
A schedule.
Because I am not a fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants un-schooler type.

We did our school shopping.
Wal-Mart.  The hardware store.  Goodwill.

Have our annual letter, informing the school district
of our intent to continue this adventure of homeschooling.

And, in an effort to reduce distractions
I may tape this homeschool mom theme verse onto the phone during school hours:

Proverbs 1:28, wrenched just slightly out of context.

Are you ready?

I sometimes wonder whether I ever am really, properly ready...
And whenever I think I am - the littlest guy in the home decides to make me 'not ready'...
But it's all part of the job, isn't it??

ha ha ~ love the verse =)

Not sure that I've ever been "ready" ~ at least not in a long, long time. We usually start anyway ;-)
I did make a schedule. I did edit/print my masters for assignment sheets, but bought the wrong paper at Wmart to copy them onto... We have most of our books (forgot a subject I'd planned for my 9th grader, but he can do it next year!) Oh, and I did manage to turn in our ream of hs paperwork to the local school on time :p (my August version of tax return prep)
um, usual long answer ~ good think *I* don't have your phone number!

Focus: 3 days to get Tim & Kate packed and *ready* to go!

I survived! It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Is it okay to say I had the worst desire to do a happy dance ;oS?

Looking forward to seeing what you are up to this year!

Blessings!
