HA! Well, perhaps if one was attending school where the right to bear arms was not heeded, then one could simply select the appropriate knife to carry instead?
Not sure that cleaver would be very good for throwing though, very unbalanced! ;)
And Q, I've had to remind Wyatt not to carry his knife to school... and then watched the police officer (each school has an officer assigned, for various reasons) walk in packing his gun ;D
Oh Felicity, that's awful! American schools have their share of (all-too-well publicized) violence, though I have to say it's not really even on my radar, with Wyatt at school p/t - thankfully.

I drove by a school on Hannegan the other day. The billboard said something like
"Challenge: be a positive influence."
Should that really be a challenge for the majority?
Just makes a person think about... everything.

Here in SA there are regular stabbings etc in schools. So that display could be more appropriate here.. :-D
