Gunnar Wonders

If there's no death in heaven,
and there's going to be a lot of feasting,
will there be any meat?

Because, really,
would it be heaven without meat?

Ahh . . . but God has no limits. If it is his will, there can be meat without death! :)

(See you at the cheeseburgers, Gunnar!)

Maybe it will be really good fake meat? LOL

Perhaps the "no death" relates to "no death outside of the design of God" and since God designed pigs to be eaten, they'll get to live out their Creation purpose: bacon!

Because, if you think about it, no agriculture works without death...you kill wheat to make bread and so forth.

Of this, though, I am certain: whatever we don't have, we won't miss. We will have all that we miss here: the fullness of the presence of God.

Amen! Trust a southern pastor to work bacon into heaven ;D

But a heartier amen to your last words.

I love the way your boys think! And I'm looking forward to finding out the answer :-)

I asked this aloud to a room of teenage boys and they decided that it will be salad and Brussels sprouts forever. I say, God's ways are higher than ours.

Blessings!

I think there will be a bacon tree in heaven. That would be AWESOME.

Weird, but awesome.

I must admit, I'm right there with him. Meat is just good! (Especially with bacon!)
