Narnia or the Nutcracker?

I took this picture of the view out our living room window.

Note to anyone considering metal roofing: PLEASE think about your neighbors, and the glare you will be subjecting them to on every sunny day. Good grief.

But I digest... that's not why I took the picture.

Narnia fans, look behind the house and above the garage roof. There's either a very oddly pruned tree back there, or Reepicheep waving his sword!

That's what I thought when I saw it myself, but when I saw the zoomed-in version, the mouse took on a whole new dimension...

He appears larger than life - like the Mouse King in the Nutcracker! He has grown to monstrous proportions! He's coming over the garage!

Quick, Clara, the shoe!

Great tree! Now....(dumb question probably) is that natural or pruned??? I'm SO with you on the metal roofing. It may last forever, but it will blind the neighbors for sure.

The tree is a freak of nature and of my imagination. The "Mouse King" is about 30 feet off the ground, and only looks 'special' from my POV. It's doubtful anyone else can 'see' it. *sigh*

The metal roofing MIGHT have been okay if it were the dark-painted variety, but the unpainted stuff is just downright nasty. Looks like you're living in a big tin can.

Of course, MY house looks like a big blueberry, (that's my 'happy color'!) so I'm not too vocal about their roof!
