Gee, let me think for a minute... yeah, okay.
In the school room, this morning, I found a title-page and chapter titles. The book will be called, (are you ready?):
Great Battles of Dino-opolis
Yep.
And the chapter titles (all by Tate, with original spelling), are as follows:
threats
scurmishis
small battls
magier battls
decisev batls
civl wars
Wars
scurmishis

magier battls
decisev batls
civl wars

Just in case you wondered.
Oh, and the picture at the bottom shows a giant mushroom cloud.

Gotta love boys! That is so funny. You really need to keep a copy. And skirmishes? Impressive vocabulary, never mind the spelling!
That's terrific! I want younger boys again! (Mine is 18 is really quite boring now! Just kidding...)
But I repeat (with a bit of a wail)... I want younger boys again!
All I can think of is the opening scene from Firefly, "Curse your sudden, but inevitable, betrayal!"
I guess as long as there isn't a nuclear physics textbook lying around, I wouldn't be too concerned about the mushroom cloud...

I love phonetic spelling, but I love boys with great imaginations even more! Sounds like a Pulitzer prize winner to me ;0)!
Yeah... when I saw that list I was really proud! I know, the non-violent moms who never let their kids play with toy guns probably think I'm some kind of sicko, but I was impressed by the vocabulary and the comprehension of the different degrees of significance.
I put the "HoH" tag on it because that is the kind of vocabulary my deaf kiddo has developed from reading :0)
And Mr. Squirrel,
I've had numerous talks with them regarding being careful about what they discuss out in PUBLIC.
They can speculate about the feasibility of building methane (fart-based) bombs at home all they want, but let's not scare anyone who has no sympathy for how boy-brains are wired :0)
And we all wondered how the old Dinos went extinct. This could be a possible theory!

Yes!
Who knew?
