That's terrible! What could it be?
No, it's not whatever is hanging on the wall behind those old boards. They are the art. Yes, that is modern art by the late Martin Kibbenberger, titled When It Starts Dripping From the Ceiling.
No, I'm not kidding.
And got a million bucks for it. Genius.
Until - whoops! - apparently, "an overzealous cleaner ruined it"; mistaking it for "an eyesore that needed a good scrub."
The museum that had this piece of art on loan is distraught. Horrified. In fact, a spokesperson lamented that, "it is now impossible to return it to its original state."
Get out!
Come on over to my garage, and I can fix you up for a bargain price.

I am getting a good chuckle out of this one - I don't like that sort of art, so it probably was better after the cleaning, lol!
I think I'm going to make an art installment called Everything Gets Cloroxed and sell it for a cool $1 million.

That made me laugh. I find myself with you on this kind of thing.
...however, I have several relatives who are artists, and they have been able to teach me to have slightly more respect for art and the kinds of things these types of artists are doing.
Still, a million bucks? Yeah.

Ohhh dear!! I guess it's a good thing I don't often read the news. Crazy what people will spend their money on and get upset about. I'm with you. I'm sure I can find the artist a nicely worn in bucket in my garage.
